Saint Catherine's College (Oxford) Foundation
Patricia Knapp Memorial Award
Overview
The Patricia Knapp Memorial Travel Grant was established to memorialize the splendid contributions made by Patricia Knapp to the College and its students. As the spouse of the College's Senior Fellow, Mrs. Knapp was a model of kindness, generosity, and charm to generations of students. It is out of respect and gratitude that this award has been established.
Mrs. Knapp had a special interest in promoting medical work in and medical research that will benefit third world countries. Consequently, the Patricia Knapp Memorial Travel Grant is available to College medical students to help them undertake volunteer medical work and/or research in third world countries.
